Why do we continue to let this be ok?

So as I was surfing the blog nation I came across the most disturbing picture of a new product that is hitting the nation.

As if it wasn't enough that we let the prostitute beater sell us the Shamwow, the big leather daddy sell us the OxiClean and then the bain of my existence (but also the most entertaining invention), the Snuggie, hit the market - we, the genius nation, came up with another product that will cure cancer and save the planet from global warming..... the Peekaru.



I mean seriously.

As if CVS pharmacies and Spencer's stores' "As Seen on Television" aisleways across America haven't already been littered with evidence that we throw US jobs and national income toward third world countries' 5 year old children's 10 cent incomes, we go off and create another product for 10 year old Xi Chen Lu or 20 year old Petey Pablo to make in sweatshops.

And as my coworkers just mentioned, how in the world can this product be considered remotely cute? It's a cross between a national geographic film, any Alien movie and day old Wonderbread.

Seriously, America. Stop the madness. Or only sell these products on airplanes Skyway magazines.
