conference rooms

Does anyone else get bubble guts or the urge to go to the bathroom when you step into a conference room? It's such a weird feeling - mix of stage fright and first interview nerves only being egged on by the blast of air conditioning that seems to always be running in these rooms.

There something so clinical about conference rooms. They're never really comfortable and they're almost never inviting.

First off, conference rooms just enhance and promote the ongoing "old boy's club" games of power playing. Like chess pieces, where you set yourself up in the room changes the whole dynamic of who are you whether or not your moves will even count in the end.

Secondly, conference rooms always mean business. Even when you have a birthday party in a conference room, it never seems right.

I don't know.

I just always feel drained when I'm in meetings.
